The dwyer portable handheld wind meter It is simple to use, and durable. To use the meter, you simply hold the meter at eye level, and the back of the device directed to the wind . The location of the white ball inside the tube gauges the wind speed in miles per hour. Cover the whole at the top of the device with your finger for optimal range indication. It has an accuracy of ±1/2 mph (±0.8 km/hr), low scale of ±3 mph (±4.8 km/hr) high scale. It has a range of 2 to 10 mph (3.5 to 16 km/hr) low scale; and 6 to 66 mph (8 to 104 km/hr) high scale. The device comes with one tube cleaner and a vinyl case. It is an ideal gift to farmers, yachtsmen and other people who likes to go outdoor.

All wire is manufactured under rigid quality controls following ISO 9001 standards. In addition, all electromotive force (EMF) versus temperature calibration procedures follow one or more of the following standards: ASTM E 207, ASTM E 220 and AMS 2750. All testing has NIST traceability. Unless otherwise specified, all SERV-RITE thermocouple wire and extension wire are supplied to meet standard tolerances of ASTM E 230.
