Omega created a contemporary and immense handheld probe with a type K thermocouple within a 316SS outer sheath. It has a standard length of 1 or 1.5 meters and is suitable for overseeing the temperature of compost or powdered products, stored grain along with pulverized grain wherein “hot spots” could result to product spoilage or ignition.

Omega’s standard model, a 1 meter long braided lead tailor-made with a mini thermocouple plug. It has two versions, one of which has a 1 meter probe with an 8 mm diameter stem and the other has a 1.5 meter probe with a 10 mm diameter stem.
