Federal Signal’s corrosion-resistant loudspeakers, Models P-LS2B-8 and P-LS2C-8, are designed for use in an industrial public tackle and typical alarm applications, where corrosion resistance and ATEX/IEC Certification are required. P-LS2B-8 and P-LS2C-8 loudspeakers are accessible in an ATEX/IEC Zone 1 explosion-proof version licensed IP66 for ingress of dirt and flammable gasoline to both Group IIB or Group IIC.

P-LS2B-8 and P-LS2C-8 loudspeakers are manufactured from corrosion-resistant, anti-static, glass-reinforced polyester (GRP). These loudspeakers are rated for 25 watts and designed to be given an audio enter of 14.1 Vrms most into its eight Ohm rated voice coil.

Mounting is furnished by using a “common template” stainless-steel ratcheted mounting bracket that locks the sounder in a role at a precise perspective barring slipping. The backside floor of the fashionable mounting bracket includes three slotted mounting holes.

Connection for area wiring is furnished utilizing two M20 X 1.5 mm threaded openings in the backside of the rear cowl and terminated by using interior terminal blocks. All exterior hardware is manufactured from stainless metal to withstand corrosion and grant serviceability for years to come.
